We offer a different short course each month and these vary in time from a one off 3 hour lesson to an evening per week over several weeks.

On successful completion of a short course, you will be rewarded with an Australian College of Beauty Therapy Certificate of Participation.

Short Courses

Advanced Make Up Artistry

Students must have already completed Certificate II in Make Up Services. This course is designed for students to extend and refine skills in a all modern and contemporary make-up to include high fashion, catwalk, glamour, historical, fabric fantasy.

Reflexology Relaxation Techniques

On completion of this course, participants will be able to perform a full reflexology sequence with a general overview of the holistic benefits of reflexology as part of health care.

Aromatics

On successful completion of this unit, students will receive: ACBT Certificate in Aromatic Massage.

This course is excellent for the use of Aromatherapy oils in either your home, or for use in conjunction with your beauty treatments. Pre-requisites Swedish Body Massage (level1)

Swedish Body Massage

On successful completion of this unit, students will receive: ACBT Certificate in Swedish Body Massage.

This course is a pre-requisite to other advanced courses in massage. It covers preparation of your room, client awareness and massage movements.

Workshops

Hairstyling techniques for Make-up Artistry workshop
This course is designed to help the make up artist achieve a total look for their clients. The course content includes – blow drying techniques, roller placement, back combing, hair-up designs, bridal veils and tiaras. This is a 6 week evening course.

Brazilian Waxing

(Prerequisite – WRBSS302B Provide temporary epilation treatments)

Brazilian waxing is the latest trend in waxing. It is very popular in salons and you will need the training to enable you to have the skills to complete this service. From Bikini to XXX to Brazilian.

Indian Head Massage

An ancient art practiced mainly by women in India for over a thousand years, originally developed to keep their hair strong, lustrous and in good condition.

The head, neck and shoulders are all energy centres where tension is most likely to accumulate.

Come and join us for this wonderful 3 hour workshop.

Face Painting

This course covers – animated, children’s, Halloween and more. A wonderful evening filled with colour and laughter.

Learn the simple techniques to create a masterpiece every time. Be the creator of wonder and surprise at adult and children’s parties, fetes, etc.

Stone Therapy

This course is excellent for the use of and hot and cool stones in either your home, or for use in conjunction with your massage treatments. pre-requisites of massage are required to do this course.
