Certificate II in Retail Make-up and Skin Care (SIB20110)

Career Opportunities: Retail Cosmetic Assistant/Cosmetic Consultant interact with customers to demonstrate and sell make-up and skin care products, as well as performing routine salon or store tasks.  This course is designed for those who wish to gain employment in the Retail Sector.  Working in Department stores (David Jones or Myer), Cosmetic Houses, or in Pharmacies.

Saturday class commencing - 4th February 2012 9am-4pm for 11weeks

Course Content:  Communication, client care, merchandising & retailing services, skin care, day, evening, high fashion/glamour, bridal, photographic and remedial camouflage make-up.

Make-up Artistry Certificate

This course is designed for those who wish to learn make-up techniques for their own personal use.  Work as a make-up artist with photographers or hairdressers, or work a a freelance make-up artist.

Saturday class commencing - 4th February 2012 9am-4pm for 8 weeks

Course Content:  Communication, client care, skin care, day, evening, high fashion/glamour, bridal, photographic, and remedial camouflage make-up.

Diploma of Specialist Make-up Services (CUF50407)

Next class commencing - Monday 9th July 2012, 9am to 4pm for 23 weeks.
(3 days per week - Monday, Wednesday & Friday)

Course Content: Communication, creative and critical thinking skills, client care, merchandising & retailing, skin care, day, evening, high fashion/glamour, bridal, photographic and remedial camouflage make-up, hairstyling, theatre/character make-up, history of make-up through the ages and decades, face and body painting, casuality effects (bruising, burns, scars etc), special effects (bullet wounds, shark attack, deep cuts and wounds), casting and prothetics, budgets and financial planning.
